Aaron Eisenberg

Position title: Undergraduate Research Student

Originally from Madbury, New Hampshire, Aaron is an undergraduate majoring in biochemistry in the honors research program and on the pre-medical track. He also aims to receive a certificate in public health and become an EMT in his pursuit of becoming a medical doctor. Within the lab he is interested in understanding host-pathogen-microbiota interactions by specifically characterizing C. rodentium sensory/response mechanisms impacting virulence and pathogenicity within the mouse host. With this, he hopes to better inform the field on enteropathogenic infection mechanisms and treatments.

Outside the Lab: Aaron is a diehard Boston sports fan. He also enjoys spending time with friends, trying new foods, playing video games, working out, and watching movies.
